March marks Women’s History Month and Federal Way Public Schools is proud to join the nationwide celebration honoring the remarkable achievements, resilience, and contributions of women throughout history.

Across our schools, students will engage in a variety of meaningful activities designed to educate, inspire, and empower. These include school assemblies, creative art projects, classroom projects, and other learning experiences throughout the district.

At FWPS, our commitment to equity and empowerment is year-round. We believe in the limitless potential of every scholar, regardless of gender, race, background, or identity. Women’s History Month is not just a time to look back—it’s a time to inspire forward-thinking, to encourage our students to dream big, and to equip them with the confidence to break barriers and lead with purpose.

Celebrating women’s voices and stories is an integral part of our curriculum and school cultures. By honoring the past and uplifting the present, we help our scholars envision a future where everyone can make history.
