Daily Schedule
At Internet Academy, scholars will experience instruction both synchronously (in real time with a teacher) and asynchronously (on their own time). Our goal is to engage your scholar in exciting & rigorous learning, while remaining flexible to accommodate your schedule.
When scholars are not attending a Zoom, they should be working on asynchronous lessons, quizzes and assessments in Canvas for a total of 5.5 hours of learning time per day or 27.75 hours per week.

Check your calendar. Do you have a Zoom at 9:00? Attend your Zoom classes and prepare your day to study asynchronously on Canvas. | 9:00 - 9:50 Advisory Live Zoom | ||
The daily schedule will vary, so plan your time to ensure you're working on school tasks and submitting assignments for at least 5.5 hours each day. Weekly Zoom times are listed in your Canvas calendar and on the home page for each class. Check your schedule—do you have a Zoom class today? If so, add it to your weekly plan and attend. If no Zoom classes are scheduled, focus on your asynchronous work. Most learning at iA happens asynchronously in Canvas. Asynchronous assignments are located in the Modules section of each class, organized by week. The expectation is that all assignments in each class are completed weekly. If you have questions, your advisor is your primary point of contact and is ready to assist. |
